Locating and Reading Your Gauge

In order to know when to schedule a propane delivery, you need to know where your gauge is located and how to read it. The gauge, which looks like a small dial, is generally located either under the dome or lid of the tank. The face of the gauge has numbers arranged in a clockwise direction. The numbers represent the percentage of propane left remaining in your tank, not the gallons. The arrow on the dial will point to the current percentage of propane in your tank.
